Pinar Onat
She is an Istanbul-based lighting designer and the founder of PERO Lighting Design and Consultancy. Following her Bachelor’s degree in Urban Design and Landscape Architecture from Bilkent University, she pursued her passion for lighting design. Subsequently, she completed her Master’s education in Architectural Lighting Design at Hochschule Wismar. She has delivered lectures and led workshops on lighting design at various universities.
Adopting a multidisciplinary approach, she enhances her projects by incorporating both technical expertise and aesthetic values.
She has contributed to numerous global projects mostly in the Middle East encompassing hospitality, office, museum, retail, residential, commercial, leisure, and landscape designs. She continues to work in both architectural lighting design and light art.
She is an Associate IALD (International Association of Lighting Designers) and was awarded as the winner in the 40 Under 40 Lighting in 2022.
